GS 200 DRILL

Although it is not a new product, the GS 200 drill from our standard range does not cease to amaze with its results and performance. This is a 3-edge drilling tool, with a “bright” finish - also known as a “polished” - and made from Guhring tungsten carbide*, in one of the best grades available.

The back of the GS 200 is the best choice for achieving the highest demanding surface finishes and is therefore the ideal drill for many processes in the automotive industry. On the other hand, its 180 ° tip allows us to work in unstable machining conditions.

The combination of all its characteristics has allowed us to apply it in cutting conditions similar to PCD tools, that is, around 300 meters per minute as cutting speed, reaching a useful life of up to 400 meters linear in the machining of Al with Si of between 19% and 14%.

And very importantly, according to each production process, Guhring has made modifications to the original GS 200 design to provide our customers with a special tool, tailored to their needs.
