1898
Guhring, the worlds leading supplier of high-precision cutting tools, was born from the genius and entrepreneurship of Gottlieb Guhring, who in 1898 founded his first factory in the city of Albstadt-Ebingen, Germany.
In those years it had only 17 technicians, who produced a 5 types variety of twist drills.
1921
In 1921, upon the death of our founder, the company was in the hands of his son Oskar, who, after its total destruction during the 2nd. World War, managed to get the company back up and by the mid-1950s it employed more than 120 workers.
1964
In 1964, Dr. Jörg Guhring, the grandson of our founder, joined the company, a visionary man who revolutionized the organization by promoting the improvement of production processes and leading the expansion of the brand throughout the world.
1991
Guhring Mexicana started its operations as a commercial subsidiary in 1991.
2002
In 2002, we established the Service and Manufacturing Center in the city of Querétaro.
2015
In 2015 we moved our operations to a new and modern plant in the Innovation Technology Park in El Marqués, Queretaro, where today - in addition to trading - we produce, regrind, modify and coat tools for Customers from all over Mexico and Latin America, playing a key role in the development of the metalworking industry for the sectors: automotive, aerospace, manufacture of household appliances, molds, machinery and equipment.
2016
In 2016 we started the operation of the PCD and PCBN tool Manufacturing and Regrinding Center.
